I have just returned from my second coaching retreat in the amazing venue of Villa Azul in Portugal.
My first retreat was in September 2022 which I attended for my personal development which ended up setting goals to facilitate professional growth. in the last six months I finally achieved my last goal set back in September 22 to appoint somebody within my organisation to support the running and management of my business. I didn’t know how I would achieve this knowing the cost and time required to train but following the smallest steps identified from the retreat I got there feeling was amazing and life changing so in the last six 6 months my team grew and with new staff coming from varied backgrounds professionally and personally I found challenges in embedding them into my culture so we decided to attend a coaching retreat as a team to work together on this culture we have achieved what I thought was the impossible I cannot recommend MARGARET enough. She took my objective and turned it into real working life for us providing us with certainty, clear goals and action plans to take forward into our work.

In just three sessions Margaret coached me to the point where I was successful in gaining a promotion. I enjoyed her direct approach and that helped me open my eyes to opportunities I would have otherwise of missed. I would definitely recommend Margaret as a coach and mentor.

I'd never been to a retreat before, never mind one focused on coaching, so naturally I was nervous, especially as it was with a group of other people I'd never met. But from the second I arrived, Margaret and her husband made me feel at ease in their beautiful Villa Azul, which is nestled in the countryside in a little coastal town, Cabanas de Tavira. Margaret's coaching model and delivery was transformational, seriously! Even in a few short days I had a fire in my belly and was more excited about the future than I had been in a long time, and not only that, she also gave me the tools to self coach and put action plans in place, which I've been using since in my development.

Recently I had the opportunity to take time-in for some self-reflection. I attended Margaret’s ‘Imposter Syndrome’ workshop to consider self-doubt and what happens when we let it get the better of us. I experienced how passionate and knowledgeable she was about improving any individual’s confidence through compassionate challenge.
Setting the scene that ‘feeling like an imposter’ costs the global business world £bn’s, and as most of us feel this way too at times, Margaret helped the group explore their own missed opportunities, how to recognise self-doubt and name it for what it is, and then deal with it effectively.

Margaret has coached me on several occasions to help me personally and professionally. Her techniques are excellent and she really knows how to get you thinking about things in a different way. On top of this, We used some working styles questionnaires on myself and also with my employees. This has helped to assess how they work and also how I can manage and develop them effectively.
