Coaching is a feature of successful workplaces and effective coaching, is powerful and not just a way of providing feedback to someone. Coaching promotes reflection and learning, encouraging people to take ownership, to develop and to engage in the organisation for which they work. Coaching sessions give Managers and Leaders the headspace they so often don’t give themselves, but vitally need, to maintain focus on their strategic role and maintain their mental health wellbeing. 

Bringing strategic issues and concerns to coaching sessions can help your Managers and Leaders to really focus and drill down on the required outcomes. As a Coach I give them a safe space to reflect on the whole situation and give some consideration and reality checks as to where they are right now and where they need to be. I facilitate them through their own thought processes with skilful questioning helping them to consider relevant options, consequences and potential barriers that they may face. Together we build an action plan that they work through, supported by me.


Transitional Coaching

Managing Change in any Organisation is a stressful task, particularly for the Executive and Senior Management teams during the planning and key stages of change. Supporting your Senior Leaders with 121 Coaching can give them the headspace they need to work through their own coping techniques, helping to reduce their stress levels whilst keeping them focused on the outcomes they need to deliver.

Inspire UK offers a safe Coaching environment where your Leaders can take precious time out to explore and reflect on the current situation and the way they are dealing with the change personally.   I use a variety of Coaching Tools and appropriate psychometric assessments, if relevant, to help Senior Leaders to raise awareness of their own emotional wellbeing and how they might be able to utilise their strengths better to achieve the personal and corporate goals. They will develop and work through a SMART action plan that identifies and delivers the things they need to do to work through the transition period smoothly.


Personal Development Plans

Personal Development Plans should flow seamlessly from your corporate Performance Development Reviews and fit with your Talent Management and Succession planning strategies. A PDP isn’t a once a year document to complete and sit on a shelf. It should be a working, ever evolving, plan to upskill and improve your people’s abilities and competency levels.

Working with your existing Performance Development Review system (or I can help you to develop one), I work with you to understand your Talent Management and Succession Planning and how each individual’s plan needs to achieve your requirements as well as their own personal objectives.  I identify their strengths, motivators and learning styles and work with the individual (and Line Manager if required) to develop a robust and SMART Personal Development Plan which is worked through in each Coaching session and tasks set between individual or team sessions
